Gather with us beneath the darkening sky as we awaken our nightly senses & reconnect with Mother Nature in the light of the Moon & talk about Star Stories!

Tea & treats provided after the walk to celebrate the “Animal Fattening Moon”, a time that traditionally marked when animals across Mi'kma'ki are foraging and feeding to fatten up for the long, cold winter ahead. This was also a time the early Mi’kmaw Ancestors travelled from coastal homes to inland homes as Winter was on the horizon.
